The self-tape industry is evolving with each passing year. More and more actors are booking work due to greater investment in their self-tapes. When casting directors have hundreds (sometimes thousands) of actors to look through, a cinematic, professional grade self-tape is going to catch their attention. There's nothing more frustrating that submitting a self-tape and knowing that you weren't portrayed in the way that you wanted to be. We will construct a self-tape that doesn't just capture your image with clear audio and a neutral background - the bare minimum - but finds the exact angle, lighting and mood that you need to really place you in that scene and show you at your best. You absolutely can! Self-taping was initially founded on the idea that any actor in any place can throw their hat in the ring for roles where they would otherwise be unable to attend an in-person audition. Since COVID-19, self-taping has become the industry standard for virtually all first round casting calls owing to its flexibility and versatility. Casting directors are more than happy to see you perfrom from anywhere so long as you have a non-distracting background and can be seen and heard clearly.

However, some issues arise when actors find themselves living in a space that is perhaps too small, lacks nececarry lighting, is too noisy or they don't have access to a reader. You may also find that you do not have a camera to film on or your phone does not have a camera equip to account for the above necessities. Editing can also be a headache for those who lack access to a computer or smartphone and find such software difficult to navigate - thats where we come in!
